Music
Keris is a rock band formed in September of 2009 in Arlington, TX. Heavily influenced by the early 90's alternative era, the four-piece act produces a modern rock sound with grunge undertones. Music by Keris resembles that of bands like Pearl Jam, Collective Soul, Third Day, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Creed, Bush, etc...
Brief History
Ryan and Nicole were married in 2006 and began playing worship-based music for CARES events. In need of a drummer, they asked Xavier to sit in for events and he eventually became permanent. The band had other members come and go over the next couple of years until they settled in as a three piece and recorded a demo. More recently, Keris has added a fourth member, Tabi, who contributes several new elements to the mix.

Current Status (Spring 2012)
Keris remains an event band playing family safe both cover songs and orignals for a variety of events and venues as well as the local music club scene. The band's focus is on recording a high quality demo of some of their original songs. Keris has 15 songs complete with 3 more in the arrangement process.
